BRIAN AVERS is a celebrated character actor, originating & performing lead roles on Broadway (The Father, Rock N' Roll, American Son, Lieutenant of Inishmore) and notable New York premieres (Poor Behavior, Completeness, The Explorer's Club), often working with world class writers like Tom Stoppard, Florian Zeller, Martin McDonagh, Theresa Rebeck & Itamar Moses, and extraordinary directors like Trevor Nunn, Pam MacKinnon, Doug Hughes, James Lapine and Kenny Leon ... while guest starring on a number of TV series including Castle, Law Order SVU, FBI, Blue Bloods, The Closer, Medium, Life on Mars, and as Special Agent Mike Renko on NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles ... With a wide-ranging voice, Brian's been heard in national commercials, video games, podcasts, and recently narrating a number of audiobooks for Audible in genres including sci fi, fantasy, mystery, thriller, dark comedies, dramatic fiction, and powerful non-fiction.
